I am a licensed psychologist with more than 30 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, and families. As a certified school psychologist, I also bring extensive expertise in child development, education, and family systems. My experience spans hospitals, schools, private practice, and educational leadership, providing me with a broad perspective on emotional well-being across the lifespan.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Clark University and my doctorate in School/Child Psychology from New York University, where I completed my doctoral internship through Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
I began my career working in private special education schools while building a private practice. I later served as a school psychologist before spending nearly 15 years as Coordinator of Psychological Services for Westport Public Schools. Today, I provide psychotherapy, parent consultation, and consultation and training for school districts. I am licensed in Connecticut and authorized through PSYPACT to provide telepsychology services in participating states.

Dr. Babich

A personalized approach
Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, a life transition, or concerns about your child or teenager, you don't have to face it alone.
Seeking help takes courage. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate, and collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and respected. I believe that effective therapy begins with understanding the whole person—not just the symptoms. Together, we will explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and work toward lasting change.
Every person brings a unique history, strengths, and challenges to therapy. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and attachment theories while integrating evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). By combining insight with practical strategies, my hope is that therapy helps you not only feel better, but also live a fuller, more meaningful life.
